Like I said a while ago, this year I'll be focusing on higher end diecast brands for my so called "simulation" collection, so additions to my fleet will be fewer and farther between, but at least they'll be worth sharing, since they're not the same cars most people on the US and Europe and everywhere else have already shared here long before they land in Brazil. Anyways, here's the latest one:

Kinja'd!!!

It's a 1990 McLaren MP4/5B, from Kyosho's Ayrton Senna Signature collection, released in 2012 and which I assumed I'd never find just... hanging at a local store. The car came in a neat, but not pictured, case with a display base and a collector's spec card, but at 60 bucks it was still pretty expensive, display case or no. Still, it could have been worse, right after I paid for mine, the price on the rest of the collection went up by another 5 bucks. Bummer, I still want a Lotus.

Kinja'd!!!

Next to my ERTL 1970 Nova. I wanted to compare scale and size between both cars, but my cellphone ruins any attempt at doing so. One curious thing about diecast in this scale is that they don't often feature tobacoo and alcohol decals, so a car like this McLaren, which featured them proeminently in the livery, look kinda naked in model form.

Don't go giving me reasons to go back to that store... I'll come out a poor, if happy man. :p

I took the last MP4/5B, but I'm pretty sure they had all of the other cars, 9 in all. The 4/5 is special to me because it's a chmapionship car and from the year I was born, and I'm kinda ashamed to admit it now, but I always kept my eyes open when we travelled to see if I could spot one, at least until my old man explained to me F1 cars weren't roadgoing at all

I searched FOREVER to find a Minichamps 1:18 Ferrari F93A. That had completed the PMA/Minichamps Ferrari collection for me. the all black Schumacher test car was pretty neat too. I still have the carbon fiber Exoto 641/2 on my desk at work. I have the Williams FW14 hiding somewhere as we'll. Congrats on your addition!

Then you might want to have a look here ;)

http://www.ebay.com/itm/MICRO-Cham…

I just bought a couple cars from this seller and his prices and shipping charges are almost too good to be true. This one's a MICROchamps, Minichamps' 1:64 scale line, so it should be on par with Kyosho's quality!

I liked FlorianOPPOlis, very very nice resorts and beaches. She wants to see the Cristo though :]

She is in Mexico DF right now with family but she will come to Houston Texas with me soon. I was also thinking to rent a new Cadillac CTS and driving to Las Vegas on a official USA grand tour of her new country. I will make a post later asking OPPO what cool rental car to choose.

Heh, FlorianOPPOlis is awesome, about 70 km from where I am right now and where I found that Mini McLaren. I'll be going there tomorrow to catch the second Hobbit movie and maybe a second Senna car, if I'm unable to resist.
